Json Works is a collection of developer tools for working with JSON, CSV, Postman collections, cURL commands and JWTs: a JSON-to-table viewer with CSV and Excel export, a formatter and validator, a diff, JSONPath tester, TypeScript and SQL generators, and more.
Who runs it
Json Works is built and maintained by Mayank, an independent developer who got tired of pasting API responses into sites that upload them to a server. Questions, bug reports and ideas are welcome through the contact form or at hello@jsonworks.dev.
What you can do here
- Convert JSON to a table and export it to CSV or Excel, with nested arrays expanded row by row.
- Format and validate JSON with exact line and column errors.
- Compare two JSON files, test JSONPath expressions and decode JWTs without sending tokens anywhere.
- Generate SQL and TypeScript from sample data, or convert cURL into fetch, Axios and Python.
- Read the step-by-step guides that explain each task in plain language.
Our principles
- Privacy first. Tools process data locally. We design features so that nothing you paste needs to leave your device.
- Useful before clever. Each tool does one job well, with clear errors instead of silent failures.
- Honest content. Guides are written to be accurate and practical. If you find a mistake, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
Your data stays in your browser
Every tool runs as JavaScript on your device. The JSON, CSV, tokens and commands you paste are never uploaded, logged or seen by us. Saved history lives in your browser's own storage and can be cleared at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How it is funded
The tools are free and need no account. The site may show advertising to cover hosting and development costs; ads never have access to what you paste into the tools.
